Fashion Show! One of the most awaited event in a Designer's career.
Like every professional fashion show, Lindenwood's Students Fashion Show is the most exciting yet the most stressful moment for the whole Fashion Design department.
This is the time when people in the community get to see the result of all the hard work fashion students have done during their years of college.
During their senior year, Lindenwood students are asked to make one "Couture" gown and 2 complete collections of at least 5 garments each (one “casual wear” type and one in the style of their choice). With a total of at least 11 garments, not counting accessories, students submit all garments to 2 judging boards of professionals that assess the design/visual aspect as well as the technical performance (construction).
A crucial event for ALL Seniors, an opportunity to put their foot in the world of Style, with style ! 4 years of education (2 in the major, really) narrowed down to ONE Night, ONE Event: The Fashion Show.

Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st, 2010, Fashion Design students of Lindenwood University will present the 13th Annual Fashion Show , at the Emerson Black Box Theater on Lindenwood’s main campus.
This year's show, entitled "Take Off", features designs by select upper level students, a variety of landmark fashions ranging from casual wear to Avant-Garde.
This year's seniors include: Roberto Mendes; Regina Hoban; Maggie Holper; Kelly Reinhardt; Mariko Togashi; Hoda Abdiannia; Trang Nguyen; Toya Hustonl; Katie Huckeby; Sierra Moses; Leslie Randolph; Jillian Rades; Maria Copello; Samantha Ellison; Philomena Gyabaah.
Many of these young couturiers who have served internships for prestigious organizations locally, but also in New York, LA and Europe, now dream of making a name of their own.
The collections of aspiring designers hit the runway: a fusion of unique influences and innovative style.... TAKE OFF!
